How Promotional Artwork Can Increase Attention

According to research from the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA), 81% of consumers keep promotional items for at least a year after receiving it, with promotional items found to be twice-as-likely to motivate consumer action than ‘traditional’ ad-spend methods. You can’t mute a promotional product or flick past it to the next page – rather, they’re tangible, in-hand reminders of your brand and its services.

Branded merchandise is a subtle yet way to draw attention to your brand and also the event/occasion- integrating your logo with your customers’ day-to-day lives. Branding allows customers to subliminally link your business with all manner of actions, from the daily (the morning cuppa in a printed mug, perhaps) to the cup you’re drinking from at a stadium or event. If the branded item is reusable and clients are able to take the item home then this now becomes merchandise – which then becomes a memory. Memories are great for reoccurring business!
